Using the service

UknowUX is a free, volunteer-run community service provided as is. You may use it if you are at least 16 years old and follow these terms and the community guidelines.

Your account

You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity on your account. Provide accurate information and do not impersonate anyone or create accounts for the sole purpose of abusing the service.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post: profile details, portfolio items, discussions and comments. You give UknowUX permission to store and display that content as you have chosen through your privacy settings, so the service can work. Only post what you have the right to share.

Job listings and employers

Employers must post genuine, current roles and must not charge candidates or ask for payment. Listings that mislead, discriminate or collect data for other purposes are removed, and accounts may be suspended.

What is not allowed

• Harassment, hate speech or discrimination.
• Spam, scams or misleading content.
• Scraping personal data, or using the service to send unsolicited bulk messages.
• Attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.

Moderation

Volunteer moderators may remove content or restrict accounts that break these terms. You can appeal a decision through the contact form.

No warranty and liability

The service is provided without warranties. To the extent the law allows, the volunteers who run UknowUX are not liable for losses arising from your use of it, or from interactions with other members or employers.
