I help teams understand the people they are designing for before they decide what to build. Most of my work is in healthcare, where the stakes are high and the users are often tired, worried or short of time. I combine interviews, diary studies and quantitative data, and I write findings so that a busy product manager can act on them in ten minutes. I believe research is only finished when something changes because of it.
